Hello and welcome to my cleaning blog. Cleaning can bring you a lot of joy. Without it, our homes and businesses would literally be covered in old food, dust, and garbage. My name is Penny, and in this blog, I'm going to cover cleaning techniques and tips for staying organized. Whether you are trying to wash a stain out of a shirt or keep on top of the vacuuming, I hope these posts help. I also plan to write about hiring professional cleaners for your home, office, or even your industrial facility. My hope is that this blog brings you as much joy as a clean space.

When you have your carpet professionally cleaned, you're extending the life of the carpeting and keeping your home looking and smelling fresh and clean. When you take the time to prepare for the cleaning specialists to come, the finished product will look that much better. Here, you'll find a few tips that'll help you get ready for carpet cleaning in your home.
Remove the Divots
When furniture is moved, divots or indentations are left in the carpeting. If you leave those divots in the carpeting when it's being cleaned, they may not get the cleaning that is needed for a uniform finish. To remove the divots from your carpeting, you'll need a few things — a Ziploc plastic bag, ice, and a spoon.
Shoe Stashing Station
When the carpets are nice and clean, the last thing you want is your family tramping all over it with their dirty shoes. Eliminate the shoes from the home altogether by creating a shoe stashing station on your porch, in your garage or in your entryway.
This area should include a chair to sit on while shoes are put on and taken off, a shelving unit or bin to store the shoes in, (Tip- shelving will protect the shoes from getting dirty as one pair is tossed in on top of the others) and maybe a pair of hard-bottom slippers for everyone to wear around while the carpet is still drying. This will prevent wet socks and make it less tempting for your family to throw their shoes on to prevent getting their feet wet.
Contain the Pets
It will take some time to get the carpeting clean, so you will have to contain your pets while the work is being done. If you don't have any rooms in the home that aren't being cleaned, you have two options – find somewhere else to keep your pets, or communicate with the cleaners where the pets are being kept and that you'll have to move them when they are ready to do the carpet in that space.
Your carpets will look great. Schedule your cleaning with a company like A Steam Pro Carpet Cleaning and get working to prepare for the service to be done.
